In 2007, certified auctioneers David Coleman & Tom Patterson identified an underserved market in Texas where regional and state banks needed an auction partner to expedite the sale of selected real estate assets. Within 3 years of forming Coleman & Patterson, the company auctioned more than 200 bank owned properties. As the bank-owned market recovered, Coleman & Patterson moved into the traditional real estate market. Over the years the brokerage has grown organically and now features over 25 licensed agents located across Texas.
In 2016, Coleman & Patterson added Bret Richards, as Partner and Director of Operations. Holding real estate brokerages in 16 states, a senior auctioneer and account manager to the nation’s largest financial institutions, Bret has extensive experience in the real estate auction industry.
