Cody was raised in the small Texas town of Bellville and attended Texas A&M where he graduated with a BS in Animal Science and a MS in Animal Science/Animal Breeding. His first job out of college took him and his wife Dawn to Alberta, Canada where he worked 2 years as a feedlot nutritional consultant. After 2 long winters they headed home to Texas, and he began work at a feedyard in South Texas as the financial manager where he honed his business skills. Seven years later he fulfilled his lifelong dream of ranching and moved to Armstrong, TX to manage the historic 49,000-acre Armstrong Ranch. As their family grew, he made the difficult decision to leave Armstrong after 14 years. They settled at the beautiful Clear Fork Ranch north of Abilene where he managed the 64,000-acre ranch until 2025. Cody has gained vast experience and knowledge in cattle, wildlife, natural
resources, business management, and rural Texas life which will help him relate to the needs of his clients. He wants to focus on helping buyers and sellers find or sell their favorite piece of rural Texas. He wants to share his passion for ranching and living in rural Texas with his clients and help them realize their dreams of being a part of something special.
He chose to work with Coleman and Patterson because of their deep value system centered on God, Family, Clients and Community. His goal is to use his fulfilled dreams to help clients achieve theirs.
